Boris BOBYLEV was born in 1936 in Stavropol Region.
After high school he graduated from the military school, and later the Literary Institute named after A.
M.
Gorky.
He was a career officer.
The first verses of Boris Bobylev appeared in print in 1956.
Since then his poems were printed in newspapers, magazines, almanacs “Den’ Poesii" (“Day of poetry"), “Poesia” ("Poetry").
He is the author of two poetry books: "Utro nad Zvezdnym" (“Morning over Zvezdniy”) and “Ostaius’ na Zemle ("I Remain in the Land”).The main themes of his poetry – the native land of Stavropol and Kuban and the Soviet Army where he served for many years.
For the cycle of poems devoted to space-related subjects Boris Bobylev awarded the Korolev Medal.
In this new book the poet continues the theme of courage and feat of arms.
